Enjoy the Journey Project Inc.

One of my ultimate goals of this project is to share my journey with as many people as I can. I was very fortunate to have the supporting cast I have had in my life starting with my family and friends, to my teammates and those I have encountered in my travels. 

My dreams are to start a non-profit to build a community center that would use sport to share and bring different cultures together. My hopes are to create an opportunity for young athletes to play basketball, travel, and immerse themselves in different cultures. My wish is to give them an avenue to experience something they otherwise would not have the opportunity to get to experience. As well as, show them there is so much in this world for them to seek and chase after.

My plan is to travel and hold camps in foreign countries with the possibility of bringing local players with me to play with players their age or skill level in a foreign country, conduct a camp with the help of the kids and immerse them in the culture. While also extending the opportunity to welcome those same players back to California to play stateside, join our camps and immerse them in our culture as well.

Aaron Moore

Legal Representative

Aaron W. Moore is a partner at the firm Moore & Bogener, Inc. with an emphasis on business and real estate law. He began his career in general civil litigation and has experience in a variety of topics, including employment, trust litigation, and transactional work including business formation and contracts, and real estate.

Mr. Moore graduated from UCLA in 2003 and earned his Juris Doctorate from Boston University in 2006, where he was awarded as a Joseph G. Tauro Scholar. Additionally, he studied business transactional work at the University of Central London before becoming admitted to the State Bar of California in 2007. Mr. Moore is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District. Mr. Moore is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker.

In his spare time, Mr. Moore enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on UCLA athletics, and kayaking and hiking throughout Northern California.

Thomas J. O’Brien

Financial Representative

Thomas is an owner at North State Tax & Financial. He is a tax professional specializing in small-businesses, corporation and other business entities. Thomas grew up in Northern California before attending Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He earned a degree in International Business and a minor in Management before moving back home to work at his family-owned business. 

Mr. O’Brien has also been a Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce board member for the last two years. He enjoys giving back and volunteering in the community he grew up in. Thomas grew up in a “basketball” home with his father being a local coach. In his spare time, Thomas likes to play basketball, workout, follow Oklahoma State athletics and hangout with his wife and family.
